About the Fold:
This is a fold done by many, by either accident or poor attempt at copying others. It is very similar to The Fan Fold, but only in folding method. Where one is neat and often symmetrical, this one is slightly messy. However, when done on purpose it does have a boyhood charm to it. It’s barely ideal for work or with a tuxedo, but perfect for casual occasions, if worn with the right personality.
This is a fold that is great for any pocket square. It’s a little messy and out of control, hence why it is not ideal for more formal attire. Wear this pocket square in a social setting, especially if trying to present oneself as the charming, relaxing, and fun to talk to of the group.
This is a fold made for reckless abandon. It’s the fold worn by someone who has over-indulged in either pleasant and poetic encounters, or even a few too many pleasant beverages. Regardless, it gives the wearer of the square the feeling often associated with a boyhood romantic.
This is a fold that should only be used by the more eccentric of personalities. Always wear it with a smile, a laugh, a poem to share, and with fun plans for today. You simply cannot be allowed to wear this fold in a bad or serious mood. Pick a different fold if you’re not feeling up for it, or maybe use this fold to lift your mood.
