Fold Instructions:
- Lay your pocket square on a flat surface – smooth out the wrinkles.
- Fold the square, corner-to-corner, to create a triangle.
- Fold one corner inward to create an off-center point at the top.
- Fold in the opposite corner to create a similar point on the other side.
- Fold in the overlapping cloth on one side to align with the inner edge.
- Repeat for the other side’s overlap.
- Fold the bottom point behind for a stronger hold.
- Carefully place the fold into your jacket pocket.
About the Fold:
You are a king. You want to feel like a king at least. You’re not just any king though, you want to be so royal that even your pocket has a crown. For this feeling of grandeur look no further than The Three-Point Crown Fold.
This is easily confused with The Three Peaks Fold, although with one subtle difference; the triangles at the sides are different to the one in the middle. This is what gives it that crown look.
It is a quick and easy fold to learn, and works well with a variety of fabrics. More rigid fabrics will offer structure to maintain that crown shape. The fold looks great in plain fabrics that have intricate edge designs.
Use this fold for special occasions, maybe an evening event when you would like to feel a little more special. It’s a good multi-use fold for casual and more ceremonious events, but not ideal for day-to-day wear. It’s good to bring it out when you need a pick me up and that feeling of regality.
